They feature a hexagonal core wire and nickelplated steel wrap wire treated with STRINGLIFE™, a molecular bonding liquid polymer that protects them from corrosive elements. SUNBEAMS™ Bass Strings are the next generation of nickel plated bass strings wound on round core wire. DRAGON SKIN™ Bass Strings feature DR’s K3™ clear coating on the stainless steel wrap wire to prevent dirt and perspiration from reaching the round core wire, preventing corrosion. They feature a hexagonal core wire and a nickelplated steel wrap wire to maintain brightness and feel. K3™ Coated applied to the wrap wire is extra hard to maintain string brightness while extending life.

This classic construction makes TITE-FIT™ a great allaround string that works for a range of styles and genres, including Rock, Blues, Metal and Jazz. HI-BEAM™ Bass Strings blend a stainless steel wrap wire wound on a round core to produce great flexibility and musicality without harsh brightness.
