So to say I was all kinds of excited when the Redemption series was announced AND that Cannon was up on the chopping block of love first, is an understatement. She's been struggling working in a bar to take care of her son and at her ex's apperance the first thing she thinks is he looks good? I felt like I was hungry and they were this delicious meal I couldnt have enough and was finished way too fast.

Cannon oozes alpha male through each page whether it is with just a look or action, he is intense and perfect for Farah. So it goes they don't get along too well at first but then Cannon turns out to be really good to her and she's tentatively not sure about it at first. Born and raised around Houston, Jessica is a self proclaimed caffeine addict, connoisseur of inexpensive wine, and the worst driver in the state of Texas.

I wish I started reading her from the beginning because I can tell she’s going to be a top favorite author of mine going forward. It hit all my romance buttons in best of ways and has given me a whole new set of characters to get to know! I truly look forward to getting to know more of the people in this wonderful town and getting to share in their HEAs. Cannon was perfect and once he got his head out of his butt and realized that he had met his one he stopped at nothing to make sure that his girl was good.

She’s been through more than most could ever imagine but has come out of it with a truly golden soul and the determination to live her life on her own terms and I loved watching as she evolved into the woman she always wanted to be.And I love how the town of Redemption envelops Farah in their warmth and freely giving friendship and protectiveness. The stories unfold in a way that connects me so intimately with each experience, each character, with such a sense of strength and conviction I just fall head over heels in love.

After meeting Cannon and company in Out of the Darkness, I was crossing my toes that we’d get to see them again. PS: Thank you to Jessica Prince and Love Affair With Fiction for allowing me an ARC of the book to read and review honestly! So I was very looking forward to her new series ‘Redemption’ and especially the first book ‘Bad alibi’. Especially now that her new home is under renovation—bringing back the grand old Victorian charm that’s been long neglected. Because one of my favourite story of KA is ‘Sweet dreams’ and this story reminded me a bit of that story and that made that I couldn’t really loose myself completely into the story.There are only detailed intimate scenes with the Hero and heroine though she sees a couple of occasions while she is working at the local bar, him leave with other women and while at the bar there are different occasions where women are crawling all over him.

the owner and her staff are amazing and nice people very kind and helpful which just adds to the fact that i love to come here.
