If the novel would been too good then I could have ignored but after so many struggles and all u just have to put a sad ending . Quinn had lost everything to the war, his home, his family and the only thing he had inherited was a crummy old book that he couldn’t even open.

It's like the ending could have been really beautiful but the author and mc just have to make it a wretched ending 💔. In the early stages of the novel the writing can be a little scuffed, but it should be more consistent starting around the first 1~2 hundred chapters if I'm not mistaken.
