I actually liked the characters by the end, but at first I thought his intensity could've been turned down a notch (he would've been more likeable).

Their families have been at odds for years, but if you read Dead Of Wynter you begin to see what kind of man he truly is.You are telling me that 6 people who are highly intelligent and were involved in the mafia from the beginning got bested by a single women ? There were so many times in the book that she could have told her family what was going on and I really don’t think Elijah could do anything about plus her family is supposed to be scary mafia. Their ages were never really confirmed, and dates were kept vague, which made it hard to create a timeline of events. I've seen others commenting on how he "sexually assaults" her, and I'd like to remind everyone that she's thinking she shouldn't want it, not that she doesn't want it.

Life hasn’t always been kind to Montana, but each of the challenges she has faced she has turned into a positive outcome, and has made her want to achieve her dream that much more. I just sincerely hope that any readers out there who enjoy this book can demarcate the good, the bad, the right and the wrong.

It’s not the worst book I’ve read but definitely won’t spend time reminiscing over this book and will never want to read this book for the first time again. I was actually far more invested in where this random threat was going than I normally am in a romance novel! Overall,the mafia men in this book felt like a disgrace and degradation to the mafia community of books and should'nt be allowed to exist. there were some twists and turns but after a while I just felt that I couldn't wait for the book to finish.

Elijah isn't the man I thought he would be, and he continued to change being with Snow, but he still stayed a total alpha that liked things rough and dirty! I can understand why this is a DNF for a lot of people but I also think there is a certain amount of “reader beware” with mafia romance. But seeming as how it’s meant to… invoke certain feelings in the reader, it was a little (ok, extremely) hard to swallow and wrap my mind around it.He started being honest about his feelings and they actually started communicating and that was great. She lives in Australia with her husband and four cats, and is a self proclaimed garlic bread connoisseur. Promising that he’d move heaven and earth to get her all the comforts and treatment that she’d ever need.
