Just wanted to throw in something I experienced and was surprised about: My Zero Mid is faster and it's noticeably more difficult to stop on than my Hien Soft. Let me first start out by saying I'm not a professional and there is no technical testing done on this over view of my experience with Artisan Hien Soft to Hayate Otsu Soft.I have to take the mouse pad off the table after awhile to discharge the electricity before it gets too bad. This becomes pronounced when you hear the 'peeling' back sound when you remove the pad, yet no sticky residue.

Sensor tracking on Otsu is as superb and no harsh feeling when fast swiping, even when most of arm lays on top of pad. I did separate 'over views' but thought it would be nice to see both in one place to show the transition from Hien to Otsu which also compliments Otsu in what I found. Compared to HAYATE, it strengthened the sense of concavity and convexity slightly and raised the stopping property more than the HAYATE. Then stick it on the wall (yes, it does stick to the wall and ceiling) wipe it with cloth and let it dry. I can't tell you how refreshing this is not having to go through a 24-48 hr flattening ritual before using.

When first laid down upon desk it immediately laid flat again which I see is now reminiscent of Artisan pads. but my experience with the old Hayate is that it's not durable and things (especially dust and clothes fiber) stick to it too easily and even cake in.
