A project led by harpist Maddie Herbert, the trio will perform a mixture of original compositions and standards that have been played by influential jazz harpists. A mix of contemporary jazz, a sprinkle of hip hop and a pinch of folk, this performance will display the harp in a way you won’t have it heard before! Kairos met at the prestigious Leeds College of Music featuring musicians from various years all bought together by Louisa; including Amy Rhodes Johnson on vocals, Izzy Hobbs and Oscar Killen on guitars and Douglas Frost on drums. In Manchester, she has been seen singing alongside 'Not Quite Big Band', 'Manchester University Big Band' and also solo in Matt and Phreds, Sandbar and The Thirsty Scholar. Her latest works released are a remix of 'Those Two Words' in collab with James FR,single 'Just Like I Used To', and single 'Feelin' So Blue' in collab with Sebastian Schmidt. Her brand new EP will be launched 13th January so this will be the first time to hear it not only live, but also with a band. Using singer songwriter and jazz influences, her emotional and powerful vocals is set to create an emotional night.
