Durability: I was disappointed to find a rip in my bag when I opened it up at High Camp Hut on my first night of use. Opposite-sided zippers on Forte™ Men's and Women's models increase versatility by allowing them to be zipped together into a double sleeping bag. The bag has a draft tube along the zipper to block air from escaping, and there’s an oversized draft collar to pull up over the chin that keeps the face and neck warm, making the bag feel extra cozy. We do like that most of the Forte's loft is on top side of the bag, with a thinner layer of fill underneath, since when you lay on insulation it compresses and becomes less effective anyway.On average, women sleep colder than men, so this rating is some degrees above the "comfort lower limit" for a man.
