I’ve always found your products to be of good quality and have always been pleased with my past purchases. One application of Nemaslug provides 300,000 nematodes for every square metre of soil, giving at least six weeks control of slugs. Infected slugs are noticeable by the swollen mantle on their back, this ruptures a few days later releasing thousands of nematodes that seek to infect further slugs.

A full season's continuous treatment would take 6 x 6 weekly applications, that is 6 packs in total (depending on the area treated). This arrived in good time and wasn't too difficult to make up and apply, but it needs to be applied to soil which is a bit difficult when applying it to a flower bed with a lot of plants. Each application of Nemaslug® will control slugs for six weeks, so for a slug free garden, apply Nemaslug® every 6 weeks.

They work down to temperatures of 5ºC and will survive occasional frost so can be used early in the season. They also say that the product is excellent for their greenhouse and that they are flowering for the third time.

If you do apply though foliage then wash the treatment from the foliage to the soil with extra applications of water. I tend my garden, plant expensive plants and pretty flowers and then overnight a slimy army comes along and munches away on my very expensive plant buffet. Nematodes are capable of surviving the odd frost; so don't worry if the temperature falls after you have applied Nemaslug.
