A blind Pride of Britain winner has slammed plans for the mass closure of rail ticket offices after being left stranded and “petrified” at a station.

Also chronicled is a shocking history of the stigma attached to blindness, which she believes to some degree still exists today.The rights of blind people are continuing not to be considered, so I will keep working to fight that. Having been told to conceal her visual impairment, school was a struggle for want of the appropriate support.
