Place the eyelash on the outer side of your eyelid first, and then place the other end to your inner side of the eyelid, making sure the lash is as near to your own lash line as possible, then pat down to stick the lash to your eyelid.

Our makeup artist, Alex Waring suggests you follow these steps to make the most of your eyes and your false eyelashes. Apply a dot of glue onto the end of the individual eyelash, leave for about 20 seconds until the glue becomes tacky but not so it dries. for more information on how to identify your eye shape and for a detailed recommendation on what lashes will be best for your eyes. Apply a thin line of glue to the strips on the false eyelashes, leave for about 30 seconds until the glue becomes tacky/ sticky, but not so it dries.Whilst it might be tempting to skip straight to a bolder style, we recommend starting out with a more subtle natural lash because they are lighter and easier to apply, making them ideal to experiment with! The glue can be removed with cloth or cotton pad and warm water by holding it against the area for a few moments, however, oil based makeup removers do work best. If there is still a small gap between your eyelashes and the false eyelashes, fill this gap with eyeliner. The key is to measure the lash against the eye and then trim the lash at the end to ensure that it's right for your eye.

Pro tip; To ensure even glue application, pour a small amount of the adhesive onto a piece of tin foil and dip the end of the lashes in. Remove the remains of the adhesive on your eyelids by dabbing more eyelash remover or eye makeup remover on the area or by using warm water.
