Britney continues to dominate the celebrity fragrance world (along with a few others like JLO and Paris Hilton). I don't know if it's been reformulated, or because I'm older, or due to the different city/climate I'm in - but this is MUCH better than it used to be. The powdery musk notes give me a tad bit of a headache behind my eyes so it’s more of a special occasion pick for me.

These issues may have intensified a bit because my bottle is old, but I don't believe the scent has changed too much over time. I remembered liking it when testing it years ago, but it has a heavy, screechy magnolia, and I remember Curious being so much better. Britney Spears Curious Eau de Parfum sparkles with lively and bright notes full of mischievous romance.

Top notes are Magnolia, Pear and Lotus; middle notes are Jasmine, Tuberose and Cyclamen; base notes are Musk, Vanilla, White Woods and Sandalwood. The pear is there to bring sweetness, but I wouldn't immediately know there's pear in there if I didn't read the notes first.

It smells like you just got out of the water at the beach/pool and you still have sunscreen on except it's mixed with the water, then you dry off and freshen up with some hairspray, but in perfume form. I remember being a pre-teen and sniffing the tester for this perfume in magazines, and of course also her iconic commercial. Please be assured that our couriers will work as hard as they can to deliver parcels as normal, and will get your parcel to you as soon as they are able. Of all my perfumes, Curious is the only one where I’ve completely used up several bottles of it and repurchased again and again. It's a cheapie, but this doesn't smell of poor quality at all, I think it smells like a dead ringer for many designer fragrances on the market.Curious was one of the most beautiful perfumes, but I’ve made two recent attempts to get new bottles and they weren’t the same formula.

Update: I now use this as a room spray as for some reason it goes super musky on my skin and loses all those aquatic nuances. I love how aquatic, soft and fresh out of the shower vibes it is but some thing in this reminds me of a bathroom cleaner. This is a fragrance for the indiependent woman who celebrates the sensual sexuality and love compliments. Great for anytime you are unsure of what to wear, after a shower, going to the beach, spring or summer. Just the faintest whisper of the early 2000's, which disappears before I even figure out if I'm actually smelling something.Even apart from enjoying the scent itself, the memories behind it make me happy- which is what fragrance is all about!
