I bought it looking for a less "intense" version of the "intense" (which I love for the cold weather). Anyway, although I suppose a woman could pull this off--I don't like to be sexist about that anyway--I do think it's conventionally masculine, though not in a brash way. The scent transforms the quintessence of the legendary automobile brand Bentley into a superb and unmistakable fragrance experience. Remember in the 90s and early 2000s the deodorant that was a gel and when you turned the nozzle it came through like a grid? The sweet tangerine might aim a bit more toward spring and summer time, but to me it is not dominant enough to exclude this from a winter wear.

The opening is still my least favorite part of the fragrance, but as it dries it becomes a much more enjoyable scent. Also it is very versatile for everyday use or any season any occasion with dependable lasting power. Bentley for Men Intense certainly gets the most attention, leaving the original almost the forgotten fragrance. Cedar offers a powerful unadulterated quality to the scent and patchouli adds a sensual depth and natural elegance. This was a nice surprise test it today and love the opening, the drydown is nice it got an 8/10 from a girl at the office.I drive a lovely old Jaguar which, to my mind, is a poor man's Bentley - a Continental GT if you please. I currently own BOTH(this one and the Intense)in my collection and although I personally prefer the Intense a lot of the times over this one. Has the ambroxany vibe that reminds a little of Dylan Blue but its not that blue to be considered close to it; this is more of a dressed up formal distant cousin that has never met the other. If you don't like it at first sniff, empty the bottle a little, then leave it (without the cap) for a month somewhere in the room where is not too hot, too cold, dark and without humidity. Bentley For Men Azure is a unique and wonderfully refreshing example of a luxury woody, fresh and spicy fragrance.
