The ED500-ESD has a powerful 500-Watt motor and the same 0.75 horsepower rating for its ability to push air out. This device basically sets the bar for what to look for out of an electric air duster. Unfortunately, that also means that the ED500-ESD is quite loud. You shouldn’t use this electric duster around pets or children under the age of 5. It also runs hot but this isn’t a big issue thanks to its sturdy plastic handle. The CompuCleaner runs directly from mains power to produce a powerful and consistent stream of fresh air. Lightweight and robust, the CompuCleaner is perfect for cleaning sensitive electronics, hardware and household items which may be difficult to clean conventionally or hard to reach. Not sure how many times the filters can be washed/cleaned, & how easy it will be to get replacements.While the ED500-ESD is nearly identical to the MetroVac ED500P, this model is better (and more expensive) because it is grounded, is made from ESD-safe plastic, and comes with an anti-static wrist strap. This helps to prevent damage to your PC’s most sensitive components. But don’t fully discount the ED500P for PC case cleaning, as many users have reported safely using the ED500P to clean out their PC cases for years without any negative consequences. It is a bit noisy. It can be loud in a confined space. It is loud for its size but that is because it is very powerful. Worth the noise for the quality and power in my humble opinion.
