About this deal

The CompuCleaner is lightweight and ergonomically designed to enable maximum manoeuvrability for the best cleaning results. With a 3 metre long power cord, the CompuCleaner can be comfortably used at any angle without freezing or releasing moisture like aerosol air cans. The air intake on the bottom of the device has a soft spongey filter to prevent dust getting in and harming the motor. While it comes with a spare and you can replace the filter. It can clog up pretty fast and this can force you to stop to clear it. Like I said its a small thing but I though it was worth mentioning. An electric air duster is an invaluable cleaning tool, especially if you own a lot of electronics. Capable of removing dust from inside keyboards, camera lenses and televisions, electric air dusters are a fraction of the effort of a standard duster, plus they’re much better for your electronics. The XPower A-2 Airrow Pro is one of the most useful electric dusters around because its high-powered motor and nine detachable nozzles lend it to additional uses beyond dust removal. This electric duster comes with three different air pump adapters so that it can be used to inflate airbeds, small boats, and other inflatables.

Electric Dusters are much safer than compressed air cans because the only thing coming out of them is air, but compressed air cans may emit the chemical liquid that is contained inside them, and this may cause damage to your computer parts and electronics. Also, the chemicals used in compressed air cans are very deadly and not safe for the environment. So, this is definitely not a green way to clean your computer or electronics. Selecting a good electric air duster is very important if you care for your computer or electronics, so here I am going to list down the best electric dusters that you can get for yourself. New users, be cautious of starting it too close to your computer parts, you won't need (or want) to get the nozzle right up against sensitive equipment. The power provided and right nozzle will easily move everything from 10cm+ away. This electric duster is still guaranteed to last, though. In fact, Canless Air (the company that makes the X3) guarantees a lifetime warranty on this product. This is great because Li-ion batteries don’t last forever and that would otherwise limit the lifespan of this product. To that point, though, the battery in the X3 can last beyond 750 power cycles and only takes about 4 to 6 hours to recharge.

The only downside so far…

The MetroVac ED500-ESD Electric Duster should be your go-to if you have expensive PC hardware that you want to keep clean. This powerful electric duster is powered by a 500 Watt motor that delivers about 0.75 horsepower, which puts the air-blowing capabilities of the ED500P on par with some small electric leaf blowers. It pushes air through fast and if it was just a little bigger it really could serve as a mini leaf blower.

The Sin Shine Compucleaner 3.0 is one of the most recognized names in the (ultra-niche) electric computer duster market for its cost-efficient air movement and its lightweight form factor. The Compucleaner 3.0 is only 1.9 pounds, making it easy to maneuver. Despite the name, this duster is effectively sized for cleaning cameras, printers, medical devices, and furniture just as well as computers. CompuCleaner Electric Air Duster – The only air duster you will ever need for cleaning your computer ( or whatever needs a bit of ‘blowing’) Here are the best electric air dusters or computer air dusters for cleaning computers, PC components, laptops, notebooks, peripherals, electronics, etc. These electric dusters can be used for homes and offices. DataVac Electric Duster ED-500 So you've committed to keeping your PC clean. Great. But how often should you actually open up your case and blow out dust? The answer depends on where you keep your PC.

Customer reviews

The CompuCleaner Xpert is the range topping, dual speed electric air duster from IT Dusters. Meticulously designed and tested in the UK, the Xpert has been engineered to achieve new levels of performance. With more power and control than any other handheld air duster, the Xpert is the ultimate professional cleaning tool. You can use compressed air dusters or an electric air duster on your computer without having to worry. When using compressed air dusters, be sure to pay particular attention to the manufacturer’s usage instructions, to ensure that a minimum of liquid is released. Use them in short bursts and hold the can upright.

The ED500-ESD has a powerful 500-Watt motor and the same 0.75 horsepower rating for its ability to push air out. This device basically sets the bar for what to look for out of an electric air duster. Unfortunately, that also means that the ED500-ESD is quite loud. You shouldn’t use this electric duster around pets or children under the age of 5. It also runs hot but this isn’t a big issue thanks to its sturdy plastic handle. The CompuCleaner runs directly from mains power to produce a powerful and consistent stream of fresh air. Lightweight and robust, the CompuCleaner is perfect for cleaning sensitive electronics, hardware and household items which may be difficult to clean conventionally or hard to reach. Not sure how many times the filters can be washed/cleaned, & how easy it will be to get replacements. While the ED500-ESD is nearly identical to the MetroVac ED500P, this model is better (and more expensive) because it is grounded, is made from ESD-safe plastic, and comes with an anti-static wrist strap. This helps to prevent damage to your PC’s most sensitive components. But don’t fully discount the ED500P for PC case cleaning, as many users have reported safely using the ED500P to clean out their PC cases for years without any negative consequences. It is a bit noisy. It can be loud in a confined space. It is loud for its size but that is because it is very powerful. Worth the noise for the quality and power in my humble opinion.
