About this deal

I was very surprised as I just bought this on a whim from my Avon catalogue and have been quite amazed at the quality and finish.

The texture is quite thick but not too overly so, the formula is very hydrating and the finish is gloriously dewy.

My skin did, however look moisturised and not at all greasy, which seems to be the pattern with most BB creams that I’ve tried. Love the fact that it accommodates dry skins beautifully, but more coverage wouldn’t have hurt, although it looks really good on you. I have heard different reviews for the ones currently on the market, but not been too convinced myself.

However, I decided to try this as I generally like No7 cosmetics and use the No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation on a daily basis. The product itself is simple although looks cheaper than you pay for but the squeeze bottle makes it easy to handle and you know you can get the product out easily ensuring no waste. I prefer a matt foundation with good coverage as I have quite an uneven skintone, but as my skin is getting a little older I find that the more matt the foundation, the more it settles into my fine lines and looks a little cakey, so I’m always on the look out for something a little lighter, but something that still offers good coverage. Very minimalist which is great because I hate those over packaging's with so much information you need a week to read it before you get into the box.

Dew it all with No7 Beauty Balm Tinted Skin Veil, expertly formulated to hydrate, protect, smooth, even out the appearance of skin tone and reduce the look of pores, while delivering antioxidants plus 5* UVA defence against the ageing effects of the sun.

I was also pleased to note that it toned down the redness on my face quite significantly and my skin felt moisturised during and after use, but not overly oily or shiny.Available in 5 flattering lightweight shades which have been designed to enhance a range of skin tones. Affordable, but not as cheap as some of the other BB’s on the market, like Garnier for example, but then again this is a far superior product and I would happily fork out extra for it. The BB cream has a 5 star UVB and 15 SPF which is also fantastic and the shade is fair (which I am ) so what do I think of it. Still, it’s sheer enough to be ok and looks just ‘a bit healthy’ as opposed to dirty and hopefully will be good for the summer.
