About this deal
De drydown is nice and sweet with light aquatic notes that combines greatly with the smell of beach and sea. Because it is on the fresh, natural side, the longevity is not the best, but it does the job done in the hot summer days. This is a very impressive "proto-aquatic" designer scent - in that it's how aqua scents used to be structured before the introduction of calone. Update: Four days since spraying twice on my sleeve it is still very noticeable without having to put my nose right on it, so it works remarkably well on clothing for a 'fresh' fragrance.
yes, summer fragrances DO NOT have to smell like a gazillion clones and flankers and extensions of Cool Water and friends pumped up with Calone. Otherwise, of course, also a real T-shirt scent for sunny weather, which I would not necessarily wear in a conservative law firm. The fragrance process is relatively fluid, without my nose feeling surprised by the new fragrance components.
Imagine a model laying by the pool side after a swim basking in the sun after applying some fancy sunscreen.
From now on at Perfume’s Club, you can find products sent by external sellers, always under Perfume’s Club’s quality criteria. Calone was not used in perfumes until the 80s, when the trend towards aquatic-maritime fragrances gradually developed. I'm trying to bridge the gap to the title: certainly not the most creative, loudest, most sophisticated, artistic or popular thing the perfume world has produced. A great underrated summer fragrance with a brilliant olfactive recipe, based on low performances, but this doesn't matter so much when the smell of this is sooo sooo good! It was 75 ml back then and I can still remember that the fragrance cost even more in the early 2000s than it did today. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. My to-go summer perfume by the beach as a woman who loves to play volley or any type of sport on sand with friends.
