The Edifier has more clarity in vocals and more open upper-mids than the Freedom Dots, which throws in a bigger mid-bass thump and much thicker lower-mids instead, giving an overly warm and somewhat congested sound, in which vocals can drown sometimes. The TWSNB2 does have a fuller, warmer sound, with more mid-bass impact and smoother vocals that stay away from the occasional harshness and thinness on the cheaper sibling.This creates a new depth noise reduction of -38dB, so the external world is quietened to create an immersive listening experience. When ANC mode of the Edifier TWS330 NB is turned off, a single charge (both earbuds and charging case) can last for up to 20 hours. Like previous Edifiers, the TWS330 NB has a brightish sound, as it puts more weight into the treble region than many other affordable earbuds do. The Bright setting adds more clarity and upper-mid detail to its own sound and compared to that of the Edifier, which sounds warmer, but less balanced and natural. The Edifier TWS330NB delivers around 3,5 hours of playtime with ANC on, up to around 1,5 hours more with the function turned off.
