These are excellent speakers 🔊 that have definitely helped the stereo system in one of my GMC Trucks sound better. They are designed with a carbon-injected cone material to accurately reproduce music the way the artist originally intended. For a 6 1/2" speaker they have a nice mid bass and excelent highs (I set the button on the Tweeter to flat).

I bet your car has a factory amp in it because most cars without amps are usually run on a 4 ohm load and cars withfactory amps lime bose, Infinity,Harmon kardon,etc. My supposition is that they believe that the amount of extra push they're putting into your amp is negligible relative to the amps ability to handle the extra workload. I connect the GTO629's to my LMS system and have a final look at the overall impedance of the system. compared to my more expensive focal these have pretty similar bass/mid bass but the vocals are definitely the weak point on these when compared to a more expensive speaker.
