About this deal

Haunting and twisted, yet heartfelt and beautiful, it’s the blueprint for other LAIKA films to come, such as ParaNorman and The Boxtrolls. I have the original "Coraline" Gift Set, a 2-disc DVD set with 3-D glasses, a 1-disc DVD with 3-D glasses and a combo pack with a Blu-Ray 3-D disc, a Blu-Ray disc, a DVD and a digital copy. The second disc in this two disc edition has a 3D version of the movie and the box contains several pairs of 3D glasses to go with it.

Another big factor is that the minimal banding that was present in the night sky on the Blu-ray is completely eradicated and this looks as good as I could possibly hope for. All told by a master storyteller who succeeds in creating a character you can root for and situations that will keep you gripped. Both of these 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that they each will also include their Blu-ray Disc counterpart.

There’s no artwork yet for the standard 4K releases of the films but stay tuned for an update on that later. The new 2160p UHD image is dazzling and the new Dolby Atmos audio track is completely immersive and wonderful. The only other thing I could think of is that from some people's perspective, this film could seem depressing, dark and scary. Movements are very stop motion like, but fluid and fine with no issues coming from any sort of motion distortions. Young Coraline Jones (Dakota Fanning) has moved into her new Oregon home with her mother (Teri Hatcher) and father (John Hodgman), both of whom are absorbed by their work and have no time for the daydreaming, high-spirited Coraline. Back in 2009 stop motion animation had fallen by the wayside, but it once was a juggernaut in the film industry, giving rise to Jason and the Argonauts, much of Tim Burton’s older works, and countless others.

Then, one of the strange characters jumps down from a high balcony, landing with their legs spread apart and the point of the tool nearly touching the part between their legs. uk: Selick, Henry, Fanning, Dakota, Hatcher, Teri, Saunders, Jennifer, French, Dawn, David, Keith, Hodgman, John, Robert Bailey Jr. Director Henry Selick's ("The Nightmare Before Christmas") beguiling 3Danimated film, based on the Neil Gaiman novel, co-stars the voices of Teri Hatcher, Ian McShane. Thus Coraline was born, a creepy little Tim Burton-esque animated movie that put the studio on the map. Though someone who wants a one-to-one adaptation will be disappointed as Selick makes adjustments that are more cinematic though Gaiman fans may find issues with.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. In addition to folks who actually participated (in any way) in the creation of the show, like Bruce Vilanch, Lenny Ripps, Steve Binder, Miki Herman and my friend, Craig Miller, they also have wonderful fans of pop culture; such as Kyle Newman, Seth Green, Taran Killam, Paul Scheer, Kevin Smith, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Bonnie Burton, and. On the 4K, the costuming of the mice with the threading can be made out very clearly which the Blu-Ray struggles to reproduce. Video Disclaimer: Screen captures used in the review from the standard Blu-ray, not the 4K UHD Blu-ray disc.
