Have used up the 1ml sample i got of this and longevity/projection issues aside, this smells majestic!

To be fair, I had for some years been using mostly niche fragrances from Tom Ford, Marly, MFK, etc, but I guess I had expected more after all the reviews. This perfume exudes the figure of a tender boy with a classic touch, looking for a romantic and playful love.But they are short-lived, soon after the fragrance is applied, the leather, tonka, and spices will start developing taking the lead of the fragrance as the citruses move towards the back.

The leather is aromatic, well balanced, not offensive, or pungent, the suede makes it feel like dry leather. While I never considered CH Men to be an ultra-chic, ultra-unique scent, whenever my boyfriend wears this fragrance it drives me crazy; it just works and I love it on him. I own 2 bottles: the red ribbon one (batch code 42091) and the next reformulation with a silver cap and no ribbon (51581). On me it’s mostly the leather, vanillic elements (tonka and benzoin I guess), with cardamom, and maybe some lavender.Whisky is way more sharper than Bourbons and maybe it will be way better if they added whisky notes. CH Men Prive is balanced very well and it’s a lot of fun to wear but I think you have to be the right type of person to truly pull it off since it’s a darker fragrance. on my skin it opens with an alcoholic whiskey note that progresses into the spices, very well blended and it finishes with a fruity, incense like smell that I attribute to the benzoin + leather combination. Having experimented for two weeks to find a signature scent I thought this may be it, and it may be, but with one proviso -- the dry down, which although remains a delectable settled version of all the layers, seems to die a quick death which is almost a crying shame. It’s so incredibly unnecessary that I can‘t even imagine that there is seriously a human being having time for this.

I couldn't believe it, but then I remembered hearing that old batches used to have great performance, so I checked and realized it was a 2017 batch. This makes me wana wear laced boots instead of sneakers , jeans instead of sweatpants ,jacket instead of a hoodie and turn steering wheel with one hand. I'll put this and Bentley intense closer to each other in scent but this has better sillage than BI and BI is more heavy on rum. A slightly bitter citrus juice is also notorious and involves the alcoholic issue of the fragrance, I feel a pleasant sensation of a niche perfume when opening it. The tonka is the balancing note, in this fragrance, the tonka is a sweet note, with touches of vanilla, cherry, almond, cinnamon, caramel, spices, and a nutty hint.

If that does not work, I am prepared to double the dose, and not give up for the sake of enjoying this superb liquid. And the sillage what happened was I was walking moving and the girl sad I personally could not see but she sad every time when come your smell stay on the air is so divine. If you want the best experience out of it, it's best recommended that you apply it with some class as well. Opens up with a nice sweetness from the whiskey, the cardamom and lavender give it a nice spiciness slightly reminiscent of YSL la nuit de l'homme, and the leather and benzoin in the base make the scent wear thicker and sticker overall. I always chuckle when I spray it on, because when my wife first smelled it she said it smelled like a rich man.
