It’s a silky and relatively light-textured balm that feels and delivers pretty much the same as the iconic Clinique’s Take The Day Off Balm and the luxurious Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm. When I was using the Antipodes Butter Cleanser, once I wiped it off, my skin would feel smooth, soft and clean. This Chamomile Cleansing Butter is soft and creamy, but don't doubt that it will make the moment of removing make-up a delight.The butter is a bit hard to scrape out of the tin as it’s really thick and solid, but upon contact with skin it melts into more of a dry oil (hence the inclusion of ethylhexyl palmitate) that is easy to work with. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that if I could only use one skincare product for the rest of my life, it would be this stuff. I suppose I rather expected a little more or maybe I was spoilt by the truly sumptuous textured Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser.I really, really like the style and concept of the brand, but while the framboos serum is nice, it’s not amazing, so I haven’t made crazy efforts to get hold of more. I’ll get round to writing about it one day 😛 I do a first round of makeup removal – eye makeup with eye makeup remover and then face with Bioderma just very quickly with 1 pass.
