About this deal

The deviations from the developers intentions and what was presented weren’t as great here as with models with even more generous colour gamuts, but clearly ‘beyond sRGB’.

This setting therefore helps to cut down on the colour gamut without profiling, including in applications that aren’t colour managed – but does so with some inaccuracies. AOC flicker-free technology uses a DC (Direct Current) backlight system to provide a more comfortable and healthier viewing experience, minimizing the effects of eye fatigue during work hours. Good for intermediate esports players, has good pixel to pixel to pixel response time and getting it in an IPS panel is even better.

This is significantly less bold than the main object and doesn’t significantly impact motion clarity in practice. millioin colors, which are typical for 8-bit display panels, and not the standard 262200 colors, instead. The average static contrast with only brightness adjusted was 1332:1, comfortably exceeding the specified 1000:1. It may appear to be set this way by default, but the native rather than restricted gamut is likely in play. The storage humidity shows the lower and upper humidity limit, which ensures safe storage of the display.

Fast-moving action and dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of ghosting. But we appreciate some users still like to use profiles and some aspects such as gamut mapping for colour-aware applications can be useful.
