Komi is actually quite adorable, and gets flustered or happy by the smallest things, and her goal to make 100 friends seems a bit impossible with her anxiety (been there, girl, but not so severe) but she tries her best. Is having many friends better than having a few whom you can trust and with whom you feel genuinely comfortable? The Itan High culture festival is supposed to be a fun time for all, but Rumiko Manbagi’s enjoyment is ruined when she comes to an awful realization—she and Komi are rivals for Tadano’s love! It’s time for the school trip to Kyoto, and even though Komi has never been on one before, she’s not worried.

Synopsis: Valentine’s Day has arrived, and everywhere throughout the school chocolates are given and feelings are overflowing. But things take a turn for the awkward when Manbagi and Tadano get left behind and have to stay the night at the rest stop. I bought this manga whilst away for a little something to read and I can’t wait to get the other volumes, it’s so good! There was a training camp, there was a summer festival where I was surrounded by everyone, come to think of it, lately we haven't had many opportunities to go out together.Komi feels nervous and frustrated in situations where most people feel at ease and probably do not even notice them. So when Tadano starts to befriend her (he also has a crush on her) he instantly becomes the target of his classmates’ scorn. Social anxiety and severe shyness could be quite serious topics, but this manga is comedic and light.

Hitohito Tadano is an ordinary boy who heads into his first day of high school with a clear plan: to avoid trouble and do his best to blend in with others. As with most manga with a running gag I figured this might get old, and while Komi's constant trembling and inability to communicate at times does get a bit frustrating, it's not overly so.

They aren't the one page deals like found in Satoko and Nada lacking in any sort of plot (thank goodness).
