About this deal

She finds Millie and, through a private investigator, learns that Millie was in prison for murder—in high school, she killed a boy who tried to force himself on her friend. Our team is made up of book lovers who are dedicated to sourcing and providing the best books for kids. But as I look into Andrew’s handsome brown eyes, so full of pain, it’s hard not to imagine what it would be like to live Nina’s life. She is willing to live in the tiny ATTIC room, with only one window, which seems to be painted shut, and has a lock on the OUTSIDE of the door-and she is tolerant of Cecelia who is dressed up like Wednesday from the Adams family, but definitely doesn’t have the manners of a pretty little girl.

And it was the best decision of my life) honestly, I feel like a review on his book would do anyone who hasn’t read this book an injustice! The story is told in three parts, I found part 1 and part 2 to be quite predictable but part 3 is what wowed me. I was obsessed with this story… couldn’t get through the story fast enough… I was continuously gasping or saying “noooooo” out loud . The Housemaid” by Freida McFadden is just one of those novels that for years to come, I will speak highly of and recommend to anyone that wants an incredible thriller.Read both books in under 2 weeks because I was so into it, would have been sooner if I didn't have stuff to do, or work lol! This was awful, and I suspect would be a two star if I finished it, but I'm not putting myself through that. I started this book thinking I’ll get the temporary satisfaction of a quick thriller (my favorite genre of book) and move on to the third Harry Potter afterwards. He makes her repeat the exercise after she falls short by a minute the first time; when he opens the door, however, Millie pepper-sprays him with a bottle Nina left for her in the room, steals Andrew’s phone, and turns the tables on him, locking him in and torturing him similarly. Nina and Cecelia move to California, while Millie lives off money that Nina sends her after Andrew’s death.

When Freida said “AN ABSOLUTELY ADDICTIVE PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER WITH A JAW-DROPPING TWIST” she was not lying! Overall, I thought the epilogue was fantastic and I can't wait to see what happens in books 2 and 3. AND IF YOU HAVE READ THIS BOOK, PUT DOWN WHATEVER YOU’RE READING AND GRAB ANOTHER FREIDA MCFADDEN BOOK! Imo it does get a little far fetched at the end, I know it's fiction but for me personally it has to be somewhat believable for me to give a 5* rating.I'm telling you right now I can't last 10 MINUTES in jail unscathed, so a whole ass decade would have me coming out on some Rambo shit. cecelia is standing behind me, her pale blue eyes boring into me, wearing a white frilly dress that makes her look like a little doll. I’m certainly not one for spoilers but it’s safe to say the twists come and while I had some inkling the events that played out were so much better and more terrifying than I could have imagined. She is walking on eggshells with Nina and her daughter and the only person who is ever kind to her is Andrew and although she feels attracted to him she can see that he and Nina are a very happy couple. How would he ever get a job with all those very wealthy, very elitist families if he wasn't able to let on that he spoke the language?
