She has 51 painted on her side, Doc Hudson's old number, and he has "The Fabulous Lightning McQueen" painted on him. While traveling to California for the dispute of the final race of the Piston Cup against The King and Chick Hicks, the famous Lightning McQueen accidentally damages the road of the small town Radiator Springs and is sentenced to repair it. Reluctantly, she starts it up, and Lightning drives on it, but soon he finds himself repeatedly hitting walls. Blindsided by a new generation of blazingly fast cars, the legendary Lighting McQueen finds himself pushed out of the sport that he loves. A water truck comes to Miss Fritter's aid, but Cruz gets in the way, causing it to tip over and splash water everywhere.At another session, Smokey has them in a field, and then Smokey revs his engine, startling a group of tractors and causing them to scurry in every direction. All the old cars are talking about Doc's racing days, and Lightning says he wished he could've seen Doc so happy.

Remembering what she saw Doc do, she drives up the wall and flips over Jackson, pulling ahead and taking the checkered flag.After he is pushed out of the scene by faster cars, Lightning teams up with a clever young race technician with Piston Cup dreams. Have seen Cars 3 get some quite tough reviews, saying its the worst Pixar film of all time etc but I still think an average Pixar film is still better than most films out there. The lost-and-found box on a kindergarten playground is home to Lou, a creature made from the assorted unclaimed items. They're soon joined by Miss Fritter (Lea DeLaria), a huge school bus with chain link fencing around the outside. At the next race, there are six more high-tech cars, and they race with precision, cutting off Lightning at each turn.

Friends supporting their hometown hero include Fillmore (voice of Lloyd Sherr), Sarge (voice of Paul Dooley), Lizzie (voice of Katherine Helmond), Ramon (voice of Cheech Marin), Sheriff (voice of Michael Wallis) and Flo (voice of Jenifer Lewis). And then, when she got to her first race, she saw all the other cars looking bigger, stronger and more confident.
