About this deal

It will always be up to you to find the lesson in every shitty situation and use it to become stronger, wiser, and better. Likes: Motivating, upbeat, energising, fascinating stories and attitude to life, loved how the audio was structured with the podcast discussions throughout.

Everybody stumbled on something at least once damn near every day in that training, and we all have things to work on in life. But because of the way I live and thanks to the mindset I work hard to cultivate, I had enough belief left to try one more time.I don’t want to exaggerate the importance of this book but I do feel it’s one of those books that could improve and even save lives. A lot of people are not rating this book high because Goggins still clearly has emotional trauma that isn't addressed by his physical approach.Which world class athletes are pushing to the utmost limit for an event and then ending up having to fight to recover for the next year+ just to run again?

David Goggins is as he states “uncommon amongst the uncommon” and while a lot of self statements are a bit exaggerated, Id say he is painfully accurate on this. Others keep believing and find a way out but hope to never slip into a trap like that ever again, and those skills they'd honed and developed whither. An annotated edition of Never Finished, offering over three hours of bonus content featuring deeper insights and never-before-told stories shared by David.

It broadens your concept of your own capability, yet it is the first thing we lose touch with when things go bad.

Still, a paragraph at the very end of the book totally changed the way I saw this book, for the better.Buckling them in a firefighting stint (tearing multiple ligaments etc), and decides to commit to running the Moab 240 again later that year with help of a talented physio.
