This award-winning Tequilla has its origin in the small town of Jesus Maria, Mexico, a town and culture that the Lopez family has cherished for generations. This is the Lopez family’s Jesus Maria ranch in the Los Altos region of Mexico—7,000 feet above sea level—and it’s where the story of Avión begins.The drink's parent company was founded by Ken Austin and aviation entrepreneur Kenny Dichter in 2009. Launched in 2009, Avion is a relatively new brand of tequila that has already developed quite a following. The agave is grown at some of the highest elevations in Los Altos, where the volcanic soils impart some of their mineral characteristics into the tequila. You can find plenty of roasted agave and wood in the nose, and vanilla, caramel, and maple in the palate.

Each bottle is hand-filled and labeled with batch number, a bottle code, and for its aged products, the number of months the tequila is aged.
