Each bottle without label is inserted in an elegant wooden black case, with a cut tin plate, covered in an elegant black velvet and embossed with the brand symbol. On the palate Armand de Brignac has a sumptous racy fruit character that is perfectly integrated with the wines subtle brioche accents. Armand de Brignac Gold, also known as 'ACE OF SPADES', is pressed from a perfectly balanced blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier wine. Armand de Brignac is a Prestige Cuvée produced in the traditional old-world style from grape to glass.

Peach, apricot and red berry aromas are followed by crystalized citrus, orange blossom and hints of brioche. it simply doesn't have the character or charisma of premium vintage champagnes such as Krug, Crystal or DP. The mouth feel is nothing short of soft and creamy, with a hint of toastiness, from the unique Ace of Spades dosage which is aged for one year in French oak barrels. The wine is a top fraction of the first cuvée pressing on our traditional Coquart press, used to extract the cuvée slowly and with the highest quality of juice. All our bottles are handcrafted in-house and we take great pride in the quality of our beautiful sparkly bottles. The family, owners of Champagne vineyards since 1763, craft Armand de Brignac entirely by hand with a staff of just eight people, including our father-and-son winemakers. Remuage (riddling) is done entirely by hand on traditional wooden racks, over a period of 30-45 days. Armand de Brignac is made exclusively from Premier Cru and Grand Cru grapes from the Montagne de Reims, Cote des Blancs and Vallee de la Marne terroirs. Presented in Armand de Brignac's ornate, black lacquered wooden box in the distinctive Gold bottle, it is a blend of the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, making use of only Premier Cru and Grand Cru-rated grapes from only the finest vineyards in La Marne.UNIQUE WINEMAKING The Maison produces an extremely limited amount of Armand de Brignac prestige cuvées each year – around 100,000 bottles. During the last stage of production, four pewter labels are applied to the bottle and polished by hand, making every bottle a unique and distinctive work of art. The Armand de Brignac Brut Gold is best enjoyed chilled, on its own or paired with fine gourmet cuisine. Originally inspired by the well-known fashion brand André Courrèges, the bottles are decorated by a unique factory in the French region of Cognac and are provided with four pewter plates, manually sticked to the surface of the bottle.

The founder Jean-Jacques Cattier controls the Chateau wine production; thanks to limited annual harvesting, Mr Cattier and his staff can still stick to traditions for every single bottle.
