In fact, me being the geek that I am, I made my own list to keep track of who was who so I didn’t have to keep flipping back to the beginning – yes there is a character list in the front of the book that I found extremely helpful! There weren’t really a lot of twists with this story but as I said I found the writing style with the different POVs getting picked off one by one to be interesting enough to get through the whole book in no time. When he and his spouse join another couple for dinner one night, sparks fly between him and the other wife. The characters are not all that important as this book is focused on the mystery of how these strangers are linked and why they are being targeted.One name on the list is an FBI agent, and she is determined to solve the puzzle of who these people are (to someone) and what they have in common. Undoubtedly one of my favourite books of 2022 so far, and highly recommended for fans of Peter Swanson’s previous thrillers, fans of classic mysteries, and readers looking for an outstanding page-turner to get sucked in to. This is a book which sets your brain whirring, trying to stay one step ahead of the killer, is a real page turner and a whole lot of fun too.
