About this deal

Both brands promise up to 12 hours of dryness meaning your baby’s bum and nappy should be nice and dry after a full night. We usually use Aldi’s Mamia and have never ever had a wee leak with them. We use them overnight for 12 hours and have never had a problem. Mamia nappies live up to their promise and really do offer 12 hours of dryness. The nappy feels dry and my daughter’s bum is dry and rash free after 12 hours in a Mamia nappy. This product absolutely makes my life easier as a mum. Not only does it save my family money, it takes the guess work out of purchasing nappies. I used to try and find nappies on sale in large shops like Tesco or Asda, but ended up wasting time and money, and buying inferior products. With Mamia nappies, I know that I’m getting great quality at a great price. I can shop for my food and ALL baby products at Aldi – that to me makes my life so much easier!

Amy: This nappy performs well and is reliable which makes life easier when having a baby. It contains even the messiest of nappies meaning no extra clothes are needed. Extra washing is the last thing I need. It looks good and is easy to get on when my child isn’t rolling around like a crocodile. I did find it moved about a lot in comparison to my usual brand but my little one doesn’t like to keep still so that could be the reason.

Tested by mum Megan Hicks  for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

The Mamia nappy brand does everything you need it to do and more. When having a young baby, you go through lots of nappies, so the last thing you need to be worrying about is how much they cost. Aldi Mamia nappies are so much cheaper than most of the others you can buy from other supermarkets. But not only are they cheap, they are good quality, fit baby well and we have had virtually no leaks. They are just as good as the expensive brands, if not better and that is brilliant! I would certainly recommend the Aldi Mamia nappies to my friends and fellow mums as they are so affordable and excellent quality. They are designed well and have exceeded my expectations of a good quality nappy. They are easy to use and very absorbent for those longer periods of time during the night and my little one never seemed uncomfortable.

The sizing is a little off, I would say these nappies were a bit too big for my little one, but that is a minor issue. Tested by mum Natalie Betts for the M&B Awards 2017: Here they are, side my side. Aldi’s Mamia to the left and Pampers to the right. They look quite similar here, size-wise at least. Our Mamia Ultra Dry Size 4 Maxi nappies offer great quality and incredible value for money. Mamia Nappies have a contoured design, are dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic and provide comfort night and day for up to 12 hours.” Tested by mum Katie Roast for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: As I’m on maternity leave we're always looking for ways to save money so these nappies are great. I would definitely choose mamia nappies over other leading brands as the value for money is incredible. Although they are a fraction of the price of other brands the quality is amazing, so far there haven't been any leaks when my little boy has been wearing these nappies. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these nappies so thereabouts nothing I can suggest to improve them. The design, quality, comfort and price are all perfect. As a nursery manager and a mum of two this product is just what I need! Tested by mum Amber Grinker for the M&B Awards 2017:

Mamia, Aldi Ultra Dry Air System size 4 at a glance

These nappies seem to absorb liquid better than other brands and therefore my little boy has needed changing less. They are seems softer than other brands making my little boy more comfortable. They last the full night as long as my little one is just seeing which makes night times much easier. No need to disturb my little man to change him.

Sarah: I would unfortunately not choose this nappy above the other on the market as although they are more inexpensive I do feel as though the quality of the material reflects this and they did feel a bit more flimsy when they were fitted onto baby. I think due to this they did tend to leak when they had been used overnight or for long periods of time whereas other brands which fit better do not. Our go-to nappies are Mamia from Aldi. They’re cheap and they don’t smell when they are full of wee, which I’ve found other nappies tend to do. They don’t leave my baby with a sore bottom - and I’ve been using since birth! If your baby suffers from leakage, it’s time to go up a size. They’re absolutely amazing value for money. I’m now onto nappy pants and they are fab too! I highly recommend them.” The price is so accessible for parents compared to other brands on the market and they offer the best absorbency and comfort for both our boys. Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. The nappies don’t contain any perfume, lotion or latex and are designed to be soft and breathable with a slim design for free movement. Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. Lidl Lupilu Nappies Danni: Yes, I would absolutely recommend ALDI Nappies to my family and friends. A nice simple design and a nice low price and bar the issue I had overnight, they work perfectly.I would choose this product as it is cost effective and great quality. Due to being very absorbable my baby has not experienced any nappy rash which for makes this product 10/10. Other brands I have used leaked and needed changing more often making them quite expensive. The biggest thing that stands out is they are inexpensive and great quality. Couldn't ask for more from nappies. Katie: Yes, I already have. I find these nappies a lot softer than other nappies we have used. There were less leakages which means they are more cost effective and comfortable for my baby.
