About this deal

An earthy and fresh fragrance despite the “bleu” factor which luckily doesn’t resemble the repetitive boring blue factor in aquatic fragrances. Maybe the renewed interest into both Aquatics and Fougeres makes L'Eau Bleue d'Issey worth revisiting. The piece sounds modern and yet somehow archaic, not clearly in major or minor: a floating, yet expressive melody, equally captivating and restrained. This Issey Miyake L'eau Bleue D'Issey Pour Homme 75ml EDT is a fragrance that's distinctive and gentle. Blue Astral opens with some fresh sparkling lime on top of a dark green bed of coriander, which becomes more evident as the scent goes into the mid and drydown, along with very generic fuzzy woody notes (might be cashmeran?

A deep blue sapphire-like bottle with a metal cap houses this solid gem evoking this image: Deep yet airy as the clearest blue sky and crisp, serene as a pine forest at dawn. This is not for sure a flanker; it stands on its own and it has nothing to do with the original L'eau D'issey. Taking their advice with an open mind, it took me a few weeks wearing LB to really gain an understanding and appreciation of this fragrance.Tried two different batches and they smell completely different one was a mess and the other a piece of art. Similar to L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Fraiche Issey Miyake ( I am not speaking about L'Eau Bleue d'Issey Eau Fraiche Issey Miyake which I have never smelled). In my collection, this is has the same vibe as Azzaro Chrome Pure but way more interesting, and Bvlgari Wood Essence but more gentle.

Versatility off the charts, it’s a signature scent if you can wear it confidently, the fragrance will pierce through cold and blend in during a sunny day. This is the scent of summer nights by the pool, the beach or at the beach bar in hot summer greek island hotels.sweetness is fine , rosemary at it's natural way and the woody notes brings a bitter scent which makes it perfect for summer and spring . If I'm being perfectly honest, this reminds me as if Bleu de Chanel, Eternity for Men, and Dylan Blue got all mixed together. But I do think this is special in its own way idk why because it is very close to those ones I mentioned. I'm a big fan of layering things but I don't know if I'd tamper with this one, the balance is just right. Another great synthetic 'blue' release comes to mind: Laroche's Horizon, or, more recently, Blue Santal and Hermann A Mes Cotes Me Paraissait Une Ombre.
