About this deal

We ask for anyone who thinks they may have any information that may help the police find Nicola to please come forward and help them with their inquiries." A police spokesman said of the potential witness: "He has since been located and is currently being spoken to. Superintendent Sally Riley said: “We know that Nicola going missing has caused a great deal of concern for the wider local community, as well as obviously being an awful time for her family.

Three Hours was chosen by the Times as their thriller of the year. The Sunday Times called Three Hours 'a brilliant literary thriller...reminiscent of both Greek tragedy and Shakespeare’ It's two years after the events of Girl, Missing and life is not getting any easier for sixteen-year-old Lauren – exam pressure and a recent family heartbreak have taken their toll. When everything eventually came to light I was slightly confused. Without spoiling it, a lot of the information involved is heavily medical, and went right over my head. So even now having finished the book I still can’t entirely understand what the motive behind it all was.Nicola has been missing for five days now, after she vanished while walking her dog on a towpath by the River Wyre in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire. Talking about their last conversation, her dad said: “"She had done her work and she was very upbeat about getting her mortgage sorted.

January 27: Nicola was seen walking east along a towpath alongside the River Wyre in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire She was walking her dog there after dropping her daughters off at School, leaving her car in the school car park nearby an outstanding, accomplished, exceptional, carefully constructed and brilliantly plotted story with a wide range of settings that included every sister… there is a reason this series is loved by so many and that’s simply because the overall story told over several volumes is just a complete masterpiece.’

I enjoyed following Beatrice as she unravels the sinister events that led to her sister’s death. We learn that their younger brother died of Cystic Fibrosis as a child, which heavily impacted their family, and possibly Tess’ baby.

This was one of those books I really wanted to like; there seemed to be such a general buzz around it and I hoped it would live up to the hype. Unfortunately, I just found it average overall. I appreciate that there are unanswered questions about what has happened to Nicola, but I would urge people not to speculate or spread false rumours. We will share updates when we can, but we must be factual. This was a pretty good mystery/thriller. Beatrice has always been close to her sister Tess, but after moving to the States they grow more distant. So when Beatrice gets a call from her mother to say that Tess has gone missing, she jumps on the first flight home to London.

I’ve loved the Seven Sisters from the get-go and this latest in the series is just as great as the rest.’

Police and sniffer dogs are searching the perimeter of an 'abandoned' old house in the hunt for her. They said she was in good spirits last time they spoke and that her disappearance was totally out of character. This book is so heart warming and almost made me cry at the end. Such an improvement from the first book. It is absolutely sad and so beautiful. I loved the ending because it really made you begin to think of how you view yourself and other people and it hints the fact that your not the only person in the world, you need to care about other people too and their emotions and feelings, which really makes me smile. Although Lauren and Shelby were never close during this book, it is lovely to see them express themselves to each other and how Lauren feels as well. The location of the bench it is believed that Ms Bulley left her mobile phone on before she vanished on Friday. The book is written in the style of many letters and Bea is writing to her sister, as well as reminiscences and self reflections. The gaps in the plot may be huge and the ending is quite unbelievably awful (in my humble opinion) however, as a diverting read and a bit of escapism, you can forgive the author and thank her for the ride. The writing is good, and has some heart warming moments of sibling love and tenderness, and it keeps you interested throughout. Hoping some time together away from everything will help, Lauren’s birth mother takes her and her two sisters on holiday, only for tragedy to strike again when one of Lauren’s sisters disappears, under circumstances very similar to those in which Lauren was taken years before. . . perhaps too similar to be a coincidence. While I was reading this I did think that this family suffered many problems and that annoyed me because I thought that yes, family's do have many problems and I thought this family always being kidnapped was unrealistic. So you can see that that annoyed me and that is another reason why I only rated it 4 and not a 5.
