This workshop is now SOLD OUT - sorry for any disappointment An exciting and unique opportunity to look at the microscopic world of the bee and respond creatively through drawing and stitch. Working with artists Sue Brisco and Elise Stewart you will first use microscopes to observe and draw bee specimens, then stitch the fascinating abstract images to be found. See the magnified compound eye or the hairs that pollen sticks to, or the exquisite translucent details of the wing for yourself for your inspiration. The booked workshop will run from 10:00 3:30pm. With the following schedule:10:00 - 12:00 | Microscope work & drawing12:00 - 1:00 | Lunch1:00 3:30 | StitchingCost £25 + booking fee per person - must be reserved and paid for in advance - link belowSuitable for ages 14+. No previous experience is necessary just enthusiasm. Please bring along a packed lunch. Drinks will be available.
