Crest Glider / Dirty Jane / Echo Gecco / Paranoia / Faith - The Slade Rooms - Wolverhampton

The Future Sound Project returns to The Slade Rooms with a showcase of the best bands the Black Country has to offer.Crest Glider are an alternative four-piece from the Black Country, combining catchy male/female vocals with driving guitar riffs and formidable drums. Following their mellifluous debut EP 'Embark', Crest Glider have now submerged themselves in gritty guitar rock, not forgetting the harmonious melodies for which they are known. Influences include Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, Fleetwood Mac and The Distillers.Dirty Jane are a 3 piece Rock 'n' Roll band from Birmingham, signed to Magic Garden Vinyl Records.Echo Gecco are three friends from the West Midlands that want to push boundaries with their music. We have all heard the same bands in the same genres doing the same thing over and over again but Echo Gecco wanted to stitch all these wonderful genres together. With this ethos being the forefront of the bands mindset, they have created a sound all of their very own that has the ability to mix and blend genres that shouldn't normally mix. Heavy riffs in a smooth jazz song? Who knew that would work?! The band believes that this type of versatility will make sure that any and every person that listens or watches Echo Gecco will find something they will enjoy.Paranoia Up and coming guitar band from Wolverhampton coming off the back of a bug headline show at NAC.FAITH - Within the walls of debut EP 'One', FAITH's true musical introduction to the world is conjured, with a compelling combination of dark pop layers amongst an attack of strings and a rebellious pulse. Hook-filled melodies sit within hard and heavy beats as songs are laced with intelligent yet angst-filled lyrics which speak to a generation. The synth infused, deep funk underlay adds salt to the wound building up to a unique dirty, metallic dance eruption.
