About this deal

It’s a program that was introduced in 2004 and intended to promote efficient energy use in computer power supply units (PSUs). At 750 W, its power density is ultra-high, capable of supporting a very strong system equipped with power hungry components.

The charger is designed with an EPS power connector (8-pin) and does not have a floppy drive power connector. With its compact design and efficient cooling system, it is well-suited for both PC and server applications. The CORSAIR SF750 80 PLUS Platinum SFX Power Supply is an extraordinarily power-dense PSU, ready to power the most cutting-edge small form factor PCs with 750 continuous watts.

Previously the SF Platinum series shipped in only 450W and 650W capacities, so this new high model will appeal to the hard core enthusiast user looking for a high wattage small form factor supply. Fully modular, individually-sleeved cables allow you to maximize space and improve airflow inside your PC whilst 105°C rated Japanese capacitors and premium electrical components ensure superior performance for years of stable and dependable operation.

It features a 92 mm fan diameter for efficient cooling, ensuring optimal performance during extended use. These provide enough cooling until you hit the 300W mark, just to give you an indication of the quality of components used here. Because of the grave dangers involved, all PC power supplies by law carry a warning label forbidding removal of the power supply case.Despite the recent rainbow of colors in the RGB department, PSU cables have (luckily) swum against the tide and went from rainbow to black. Today we take a look at one of the newest power supplies from market leader Corsair – their new SF750 SFX Platinum.
