As the doors are previously painted we would advise testing for compatibility and adhesion prior to full application. It is ideally suited for any area of persistent high humidity, frequent temperature changes and poor air circulation. If there is a slight step in the coating where the old paint layer meets the bare plaster you can apply a fine surface filler to even this out. I require a waterproof paint for a downward sloping ceiling of a shower area which is quite likely to get wet from shower spray.Perma White is a high-performance, latex acrylic paint that contains a biocide to protect the dried coating against fungal degradation. The ultimate performance shellac-based primer-sealer and stain killer in 1,500+ colours for interior and spot exterior use. Zinsser Perma-White Interioris fine for this environment but we do recommend you prime first with Zinsser AllCoat (Solvent-Based). We would advise priming the clean melamine surface with a coat of Zinsser B-I-N first followed by 2 coats of Zinsser Perma-White Interior.

Due to its durability and wear and tear resistance, this semi-gloss finish is ideal for those surfaces that are subject to heavy wear and tear.

Recommended for application in high-humidity areas where a durable, low sheen finish is desired such as finished basements and kitchens.
