When Eczema flares up, it is important to pay special attention to your skin and keep it hydrated with regular use of emollients. Also suitable for the relief of eczema, psoriasis, and other dry skin conditions, it can be used by all ages (including children over the age of one month).

Eczema - Zeroderma

Bath additives disperse easily in water and provide a soothing treatment for dry skin during bathing. As a bath additive: Melt about 4g (roughly a teaspoonful) of Zeroderm Ointment in hot water in a suitable container.

Ointments are usually free of preservatives so are suitable for sensitive skin, but should not be used on weeping eczema. It also offers symptomatic relief of dermatitis, ichthyosis, eczema, nappy rash, protection of dry skin areas, pruritus. A spray-on emollient, applying a mix of pure White Soft Paraffin BP and Liquid Paraffin BP to the skin.

Suitable from birth AproDerm Emollient Cream soothes, moisturises and protects the skin of those suffering from eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions.A highly moisturising, occlusive, leave-on emollient gel without the greasiness of an ointment, that actively draws and retains moisture within the skin and provides a protective barrier to help reduce dryness and irritation. Contact sensitivity reactions may occur if sensitised to one or more ingredients in Zerolatum Emollient Bath Additive. Medical advice should be sought before use of emollients if the skin is broken, badly cracked, infected or bleeding. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding, especially if you are applying this product to the breast area. AproDerm Emollient Cream is slightly richer than AproDerm Colloidal Oat Cream, however, is still light and easily absorbed, whilst being cooling and moisturising.

If you're using a steroid cream or another treatment for your skin condition, wait 20 to 30 minutes between using an emollient and using the other treatment.
