About this deal
When I will start playing in a club with DJM/CDJs the learning curve from this setup that I will have used at home will be steep.
XDJ-RX3 - 2-channel performance all-in-one DJ system
By pressing and holding the Menu button under the screen, you can access the system preferences, which contain a lot of choices, of which I’m going to highlight a few here.
And no matter what I do, I’ll always need my laptop with me for that, so I’ll just stick with Serato / Numark until Serato decides to merge with controllers if they decide to do so. I don’t care what none of y’all say, you’ll never convince me that a laptop is too much of a nuisance, distraction, inconvenience, whatever . If you have a desire to stop looking at your laptop the RX2 gives you all the tools you need at your fingertips. Like the XDJ-RX2, it is great to use, but now it feels snappier, and really benefits from that bigger screen. The obvious comparisons mostly come down to size, such as that of the jogwheels and the screen – while for others channel count might be a factor.

Easy for new DJs to get to grips with club-level layouts without having to spend a large amount of money on a full setup. Secondly, while it is true that a new DJ could learn to DJ on one of these, and take their Rekordbox USB stick and DJ in a pro DJ booth, if that same DJ was relying on the “sync” button in the pro booth rather than manual beatmatching, they could – it could be argued – still get “found out” when stepping up to a club where the gear is older and the sync button isn’t there.
But despite this slight oversight, the RX3 offers all the essential connection points most DJs would want.
