About this deal

Held at the picturesque Fireplace Farm at sunset, Kelsea Olivia arranged gorgeous florals, based in green and sunset tones.

My favourite character in the book is Arthur because I felt like he was the main character and I could see everything from his perspective.

The fact that the main characters hardly know each other and know nothing about Wonderscape, unlike in titles such as ‘Ready Player One’, means that you all start on a level playing field and learn about it together, and can enjoy seeing their friendship grow as they become a determined and formidable team.

QaS: A cool feature of Wonderscape is that each realm features a historical hero that players can occasionally interact with. I thought the concept of the Wonderscape was so clever, and if it was a game which actually existed I’d be addicted to it! An explosion occurs on an otherwise quiet street and the trio investigate where it stemmed from, and to possibly rescue the howling creature they can hear from an abandoned home as well. We look to the stars to find our place in the Universe, but for the first time we listen to its music.I had such an incredibly fun time reading this, the worlds visited are so vivid and creative, and the added layer of the real-life icons such as Isaac Newton, Thomas Eddison, and Mary Shelley to name a few, add something really special to this story.

On a Human Scale is an interactive instrument that highlights our diversity and our shared humanity. An unexpected and unusual combusting garden gnome situation throws together three very different schoolchildren, Arthur, Ren and Cecily. Playing with scale as it invites visitors to consider the overuse of plastic and its environmental impact, Thank You Bags reclaims a generic yet iconic symbol of mass consumerism and the excesses of capitalism through two enormous fabric sculptures, filled to capacity with nothing. It is an intriguing concept that fascinates Arthur,Ren and Cecily; in this world they can absorb information into their minds from Wondercloaks and Isaac Newton wears fluffy slippers… It becomes a battle of time for the three before the game turns them into slime and also a battle for the future of Wonderscape itself and who should be controlling it. Tomoe Gozen, Wangari Maathai and Thomas Edison were names I’d never heard of before but by reading the story, I understood how they helped in shaping our present.

It was an average read for me, I enjoyed it but I didn't love it, unfortunately it was nothing special. I really love everything about this book: all the adventures, great descriptions, holograms and superpowers! Inspired by the national divinity of the Greeks, the artwork conveys this complexity by using the symbolic and physical elements of the building. The character I disliked the most was Tiburon because he oversaw the Wonderscape and could manipulate the past so that none of the main characters would exist which I think is evil. JB: If you’ve ever watched Star Trek, you’ll know the characters use ‘replicators’ to synthesize food on demand. Alleen het begin vond ik een klein beetje vaag en rommelig, maar toen ik er eenmaal inzat zag ik het helemaal voor me! Hi , Wonderescape is a book full of wonder and perfect for the people who want to dive into adventure or into time !
