I've yet to see a self-help book oriented around community involvment and not hyper-focus on individual actions.

I did not know if anything would come of Welcome Home or if I would have the chance to see it through its completion, but I was dedicated regardless. Though Home only speaks in onomatopoeias, Wally seems to understand it with little to no effort, and talks, even sings to Home from time to time. Wally tries to be gentle and patient with you, and knows that even if he can't see you or you can't reply to him, you're still there with him, looking at him. Although it is mostly about self-love and the understanding/acceptance of one’s self, she presented it as the state of being at home with yourself/building a home within yourself and I really like that idea.The mistake most of us make is that we build our homes in other people in the hope that they will deem us worthy of being welcomed inside. Thank you Najwa you're such an amazing soul, thank you for helping all of us what you did is beyond words. Now you have given me the opportunity to tell that story, to collaborate with others, and so much more. He is the only character that doesn't know what a swear word is, and consequently, doesn't know any or how to use them. This is a profound guide to embracing impermanence and celebrating the fact that change is what puts the life in life.
I will definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a home in someone else's home rather than building their own. This book includes true-life instances that inspired the author, techniques, and actions that can be easily got to follow (while emotionally hard to do), and poetry. And the start of the book did give me something new to dwell on; however, after a few chapters, the book became very repetitive and she was adding in the findings of other books and incorporating her life lessons to make a link somehow which didn't feel very authentic. He liked to softly bite Wally [24] and slobber on him occasionally, even fitting Wally's entire head in his mouth.
