About this deal

The chocolate-covered, cream-filled biscuits are identical except for the Penguin being longer by more than a centimetre. Opened in 1865 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Arnott’s has become a huge part of Australia’s history and a national icon alongside VEGEMITE.

In terms of product range, Tesco sells everything from food and drink to clothing, electronics, and books. Not only do Aussies love their Tim Tams, but they’ve even found a way to enjoy a drink or two while enjoying a Tim Tam. The year 2015 was a busy year for flavours, with Choc Raspberry and Coconut Cream launched around Valentine’s Day, toffee apple and pineapple flavours released in June, and Choc Banana presented in October. They taste so good with a nice cuppa hot chocolate or even a tea, particularly when you have had a bad day.

Other flavours released throughout the years included: mocha, double coat, cheese, double choc vanilla, strawberry, hazelnut and chewy choc fudge. Under the agreement, Brits under the age of 35 will be able to travel and work in Australia more freely, opening exciting opportunities for young people. It is the third-largest retailer in the world measured by revenues and second-largest measured by profits. Known as a Tim Tam Slam, but also known as Tim Tam Bomb, Tim Tam Shotgun, Tim Tam Explosion and Tim Tam Suck, one would bite off the opposite corners of the biscuit, then dunk the biscuit into a tea or coffee and suck the drink through the biscuit. We don't as a general policy investigate the solvency of companies mentioned (how likely they are to go bust), but there is a risk any company can struggle and it's rarely made public until it's too late (see the Section 75 guide for protection tips).

The original Tim Tam has a chocolate biscuit base with a chocolate filling, while the doublecoat has two layers of chocolate biscuit with a chocolate filling in between. Despite the success of these flavours, it wasn’t until 2014 that a new range of flavours (salted caramel, choc brownie, red velvet and raspberry white choc) were released, created by the renowned Australian dessert chef Adriano Zumbo. In the 2000s a variety of flavours were released including dark chocolate, white chocolate, chewy caramel, honeycomb, choc orange and dark chocolate mint.

Tim Tams The good news is that you don’t have to miss out on that biscuit straw because you’re vegan!

Although the original flavour is still widely consumed and preferred, there have been many varieties to the biscuit. British farmers will be protected by a cap on tariff-free imports for 15 years, using tariff rate quotas and other safeguards. Many people say they are like a Penguin biscuit, we think they both taste great but a Tim Tam just edges it for us, with its intense chocolate hit. Whilst we try to make sure they are accurate as possible, it is not a substitute for you reading the product packaging and label prior to use.She bit off opposite corners of the biscuit before dipping it into her tea and sucking the tea through the biscuit. We take a look at the popular biscuit, as there’s much more to the original flavour than you may think. No matter what kind of rubber duck you’re looking for, chances are good that Tesco will have what you’re looking for. They were named by Ross Arnott, who attended the 1958 Kentucky Derby and decided that the name of the winning horse Tim Tam was perfect for a planned new line of biscuits.
