Myers has produced another great novel here to go with The Offing and Cuddy, already two of my favourites of all time. What appears a simple tale of the two men striving for perfection, turns out to be far more complex. Whilst I didn't love this as much as the author's non-fiction I will still be giving The Gallows Pole and The Offing a go soon.
