About this deal

I really adore this duet but I know it won’t be for everyone due to the events of book one (pls check out that review! It’s the people you love and the simple moments— dancing in the kitchen together, sitting down and having a meal together, just existing.

This was the story about two people who found the best in each other and decided that they were worth it. In the meantime I’ll be stewing until I can get my grubby little hands on The Resurrection of Wildflowers. In addition, the slight bit of spice was *chef’s kiss, I just loved reading how Salem could make such a strong man like Thayer absolutely lose his control, and give his everything to her! And yes there’s still the kid who she eventually told him about and you might wonder about his reaction which was…yes so okay and chill! This arrangement was Caleb's idea, as Salem isn't particularly concerned about potentially separating Caleb and Seda in the pursuit of her own happiness. At first I didn't have that much expectation because I'm not someone who loves cheating in books, but in this case I think it was well done. nothing happens and in book 2 we know that he just did it to push her away forever and never intended to be with the OW).

Please answer that for me because maybe I’m the cynical non-understanding person and he’s just the “perfect understanding” man who just loves her so much! ngl it was fun and cute just reading about the characters living, laughing, and loving but it quickly got repetitive and dare i say boring.

Never mind the fact that she moved to NY and then got engaged to another man and married him only a year later. I can't express my hatred for that devastating and unnecessary situation, and especially how the heroine handled it, I've honestly never met a character as selfish as her, the way she compared the pain of both, and how she wanted him to choose her in that moment that he had lost so and was completely broken. Nothing Salem went through, outside of what happened in her childhood, can be compared to losing a child. There was no spark (hell, there wasn’t even a little microscopic twinge), no chemistry, and the whole plot was just a succession of embarrassing moments and equally embarrassing dialogues (and actually unspeakably embarrassing thoughts from our brilliant contradiction of a MC). To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

i don’t regret reading it and i’m happy it all ended the way it did but there was just too much filler writing for me to give this a higher rating. There, the little girl with flame-red hair picked daisies in the garden, threading them together to make a garland for her hair.I’m extremely relieved I only have to wait a week but I’m still wishing I had waited so I could’ve read them back to back. Salem was content with life, but at the same time was trying to find her own path as opposed to the traditional route that most people would take like her boyfriend, Caleb going off to college in Boston.

The real story truly starts at like 30% mark, other than that you just get to know Salem a little bit better. If you are still wondering how to get free PDF EPUB of book The Confidence of Wildflowers by Micalea Smeltzer. Some things are repeating throughout the book and it does not add quality to the writing, let’s put it that way.
