Despite being present during numerous conversations, she would contribute a single line and then vanish.The plot had potential but there are so many things going on it made it tough to read, i had to keep putting it down because it was frustrating me so much, I’d think we were rounding something off and then POW something else is added to the mix. The college student is still immature, but they'recloser to being on their own and living an adult life and it shows in the choices that are legitimately available to them. Jena, Dakota, Skye, and Owen are all there for different reasons, but at Paradise their lives become tangled together in ways none of them can predict.

I don't want anyone to be turned off by reading g the story because it's good with a HEA, but just be aware it ends abruptly. It will change Dakota, who needs the devastating truth about his past to make him realize that he doesn’t have to be a jerk just because people think he’s one. If there are multiple source libraries, know that we pull metadata from top to bottom, so the first one might be sufficient.The story was angsty and full of feels, and you feel sorry for Soph, and I even kind of felt bad for Kyle when he wasn't acting self entitled but to leave it hanging with no peek at the relationship with Josh and Soph and and no closure on what happen with the blackmail of Kyle and their fathers political race, stung a bit . She gets into a car accident that apparently “isn’t that bad” but it takes days for Josh to be allowed to go back and see her? Not much happened, had a lot of potential but it was one of those "how many hurdles can we throw at the protagonist" books. They never stepped in and acted as genuine parents, almost rendering their inclusion in the story unnecessary. In the end I didn’t like any characters, the scenes that could have been super intense were just plain bad and there was close to no character development.
