The control pod has a big button in the centre which turns Ewan on but to get the most out of the sheep, it’s not so intuitive. The way I got this was cheap but it worked-I paused the game every few seconds so I could see every Ram that was coming up as it did, helped me have time to set up the buttons for the last few movies as well as not mess up by jamming a rooster or single tapping on a rapidfire ram only to realize too late.

Kids should find this funny and entertaining while adults will be hoping that kids catch on to the point of the story. To activate the MoonMode smartCRY sensor you press and hold the big button for three seconds and listen for a single beep to hear it turn on. Plus, if you’ve got a noisy environment, it’s great at soothing and keeping noises to a consistent level. In subtle colors with lots of telling details, Guillaume Perreault's illustrations bring Duncan's bedtime rituals and his unexpected sheep guests humorously to life. The muted colouring in the illustrations add to the idea that this is a bedtime story and one he would listen to again and again.

ewan mimics the comfort of the womb with a soft red, melatonin inducing glow, similar to what baby would see from within the 'bump'. The fact that the Ewan Deluxe Sleep Sheep is machine washable with a removable control pod is another selling point, as this prolongs his life span and makes him easy to keep clean to reuse for future children or to sell on in the future. I thought I’d have it figured without taking note of the instructions but actually you do need to look carefully at the guide. A cutish book about a boy who can't sleep, who has come with excuses why he can't sleep, and is told to count sheep, so he does.The first twist in the plot occurs when Duncan has everything he needs to go to bed and finally concludes, "but, I'm not sleepy!
