About this deal

It’s definitely going to be a native 60Hz TV with 4K support and it will probably use a basic quad-core processor. There is a QN95A iteration in the UK that adds the new Slim One Connect box, but likely won't be available in the US. While some sets introduce jiggle to the distant lights as K flies to Sapper’s farm, they remain solidly in place on the Samsung. Q-Symphony uniquely allows TV and soundbar speakers to operate simultaneously for better surround effect without muting TV speakers.

A powerful system that has the ability to work in perfect harmony, by synchronising TV speakers and soundbar together to play sound simultaneously from both devices. Samsung Q70A QLED TV (55, 65, 75, 85-inch): The Q70A QLED offers a 120Hz panel and 4K resolution, and comes with Samsung's existing Quantum 4K processor. By setting the former to High we increase the punch of bright highlights in otherwise dark scenes but lose a little bit of shadow detail, and while Custom is the right amount of motion processing for us, some may still prefer to switch it off entirely. If you thought 4K Ultra HD was sharp, Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV gives you an incredible four times more detail. After much experimentation, we find that the Q80T responds well to the same picture tweaks we made to the Q95T.Both models will feature a slimmer chassis than last year’s models from around 59mm to 25mm in depth, and a dynamic refresh technology to make a native 60Hz refresh rate seem like a 120Hz panel thanks to Motion XCelerator Turbo.

The Samsung Q700T is cheap by 8K TV standards, and that necessitates a few compromises which may put off movie and gaming enthusiasts.Dive into a huge collection of 4K films, TV shows and all your catch-up TV apps – including Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, NOW TV and BT Sport apps** - all in one place at the touch of a button.

However, reports indicate that the Q700T’s Quantum HDR rating (a scale created by Samsung itself) is only HDR 8x, which is lower than Samsung’s 4K Q80T with its HDR 12x rating.

This is a really nice touch that prevents a mess of cables hanging down from your flashy 8K display (which we think would somewhat ruin the effect). Blade Runner 2049 contains some stern tests of motion handling, and the Q80T proves a dab hand here, too.
