The magnifyer is acceptable but needs a section of much higher magnification to benefit those with diminished sight.I also love its flexible head, you can literally move it in any position you can imagine and I do that all the time as I like stitching in all sorts of places around the house. The end embroidery pieces are much neater, without really improving my skills, it was all about the light and being able to see the fine stitches better! Other improvements would be a separate switch to dim the light, and a half-height (and lighter) version as the arms are quite long.
