I damn near inhaled this book in one setting, I fortunately was traveling all day and had plenty of time to binge read. I don’t expect smut books to have top tier writing, but I don’t expect to not be cringing so badly I have to restrain myself from chucking my device across the room. I've been in a weird mood ( yes I keep mentioning that I know) so maybe this was just what I was in the mood for? My gut screamed at me to punch him in the throat and run for my life because no man should be so large, handsome, and cool-looking. When Sadie see is she taunts the Queen and the Queen decides to give Sadie to Cobra so he has public sex with her, because everything in his room is filmed.

i think we are all going way too far with the bully shit, because honestly it was foul and awful to read, and actually embarrassing. John another beta is taking her to the portal because he was promised much money from the fae queen. I swear if I read another 20 something year old female main character either refer to herself, or her love interests refer to her, as “a little girl”, I’m going to scream.Sadie does not care whether the alphas are happy with her or not, as she will often just do whatever works for her. Jasmine Mas takes the time to build strong and sweet relationships and these bonds would help them, get through whatever life would throw their way and survive. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. If I had to read “five and a half feet tall”, “small”, or “numb” one more time I might have lost my ever loving sh*t.

She lead us on this AMAZING ride and totally knew how to throw in the DRAMA at just the RIGHT 👍🏻 moments! Turns out that the lake is enchanted and by adding some blood of the person, who is tested, it shows different colours, depending if the person is a null, and alpha, beta or omega.He is still a jerk with Sadie, but he actually gives her a chance to prove herself every once in a while and does not openly despise her. This is the first book to really grip me in a while, its so fast paced and fun, super smutty and honestly hilarious. Cobra even talks to her, and she is the only woman he talks to, because he was abused by the Fae Queen and her Fae’s. Fast forward 🏃🏻‍♀️ 10 years and she is RIGHT AT THE AGE where she can be tested to see what she truly is 🙌🏻!

Our girl soon finds herself next to 3 HOT 🥵 ALPHA PROTECTORS and lets just say… everything that comes after is not what I thought it would be! There was a lot of good sexual tension between the characters, I just wish there were more spicy scenes. he treats Sadie badly, he beats her with his belt until she is bleeding every day or every other day for no reason.Unlike most characters in such works, they are not slightly crazy or violent women coming with a traumatic past or super functional males. you love STRONG 💪🏻 FMCs who STAY STRONG 🥳, you LOVE a plotline that is super different, high fantasy, with cool of TWISTS 🌪 and TURNS ↩️ … and is NOT your normal shifters… give this a shot! He is also clearly obsessed with Sadie, and actually believes in her enough to let her fight against the fae monsters, but at the same time, he is the one who seems to hate her the most. the 'omg she's so different from other girls i need to protect her and fuck her' storyline is even worse and some how more insulting when the MC is actually hardly different and arguably dull.
