About this deal
Theragun is a powerhouse in the massage gun market, and after testing the brand's most popular massage gun models, the Theragun Prime (4th Generation) was our favorite. They target muscles with rapid-fire pulses, aiming to provide the benefits of massage therapy from the comfort of your home.
We would’ve loved an extra head and a travel case but, for most people, this massage gun has everything you’ll ever need for on-the-go massages. You get an excellent choice of attachments (there are six to choose from), and each one fits in easily with a pushing/twisting action. We also rated the design features: LED lights indicate the battery level, each attachment has its own compartment in the case, and it even comes with a charging stand, which gives it a sleek, premium feel. The third Therabody product on our list, the Theragun Elite claims to reach 60% deeper into the muscle than average massagers, thanks to a hardcore 16mm amplitude. It offers an excellent five hours of battery life and the six massage heads cover all bases for a versatile massaging session. It has all the speeds and attachments most people will need, although at 7mm amplitude, it doesn’t massage quite as deeply as some of the most expensive models.
The standard ball-shaped head is great for massaging large muscle groups, including your arms, back, buttocks and thighs. Plus, more early savings: RENPHO's Power Massage Gun is 55% off, TOLOCO's Massage Gun is 44% off, and TheraGun's Pro Massage Gun is 15% off. What’s more, it offers three speed settings so you can vary the intensity, depending on how sore you’re feeling. Its five power settings are simple to control, and range from a gentle massage to a vigorous pummelling that's suited to large, particularly tight muscles. The Ball head can be used with medium intensity for quads, hamstrings, glutes, pecs, deltoids, feet and hands. Instead, concentrate on the big, meaty muscles like the biceps, triceps, thighs and glutes, and don't use it for too long - it'll only make things sorer! Our expert tester trialled a range of massage guns over a three-week period, using them after a wide range of exercises, from weightlifting and running to HIIT and yoga.
