Philips WhiteVision ultra is designed for drivers who are looking for an upgrade with the style and appearance of LED lighting but drive a vehicle with halogen technology. The colour and brightness of the headlights in the visual is not an actual representation of Philips headlights. I know people fit downpipes etc without declaring to insurance companies which to me is a little risky as not quickly/easily removed at the road side if you have a bad one. I bought these to put in my main beam, and what a difference they make in conjunction with the extreme vision + bulbs in normal headlight. However, a few weeks later replaced offside and noticed a big difference in brightness, although light is not as white as some may hope for. Having just upgraded my parking lights to LEDs it became painfully obvious just how yellow my factory halogen bulbs are. Conclusion: if you only drive in well lit areas and want that xenon look without actually upgrading xenons this is the way to go. The color of these bulbs is close to a 6000k HID however the output is not as strong as an HID aftermarket kit.
