Got bitten that bad that my eyes started closing and puffed right up and the bites went into blister type spots! While I did get a few bits it was nothing compared to previous experiences, and the rest of the family felt the same. We holidayed in Borneo and did day trips into the jungle on the river and out at night etc and I wasn’t bitten once! Having used these on numerous camping and outdoor trips throughout the summer I have been very impressed and bite free. I trusted they'd work, but had to fork out on proper pharmacy sold repellent spray and antibiotic cream.

These arrived in one bag, quite annoying as soon as opened they will start to loose the smell from the active ingredient. Like other reviewers have mentioned, I think Pestects are removing the negative comments from social media. Considering we were always together and should have been affected equally or at the very least close to the same the difference is like chalk and cheese.We holidayed in Sardinia last week, wore both the bracelets (on wrists as well as ankles)as well as using the spray and got absolutely peppered in bites. It could be that in St Lucia which is very green and rains a lot, there are just too many for the bands to cope with as the mosquitoes are a formidable force in the country. I originally bought Pestects bands for a trip to Zimbabwe Dec 22, as we were off to a malaria area and bugs love to chomp on me.Worked great for keeping bogs and flies away while I was walking ans also hung one inside the tent which helped keeped bugs out aswell. I was only asking if there may be something that my body changes the effectiveness of these bracelets as there were only positive comments on Facebook.
